Sometimes, I struggle to understand the relative size of
assets.
Consider the following:

In 1997, the market capitalisation of Microsoft
was larger than that of Emerging Markets!

In 2012, the market cap of Nestlé was briefly
equivalent to that of the Italian Index!

Today, if you owned the entire Apple
Inc., and sold it, you could purchase the entire stock market of Russia, and
still have enough change to buy every Russian an iPhone 6 Plus!
