Zurich for Toddlers in Winter and in Bad Weather

This can be the worst combination. You cannot go out.
I am writing here about activities I did and enjoyed.

These are some activities I could suggest.
Zone 110 is the Zurich centre as defined by the ZVV transport network map. 

Within Zone 110

• Zoological Museum of the University Zurich

This is a great museum with many stuffed animals. Toddlers and young children can check animals, have some activities proposed.

It is free and open everyday but Monday.  

You can spend around one hour there.  

Outside Zone 110

• Ebianum Baggermuseum

This is the museum of construction company Eberhard. They are displaying all the trucks, bulldozers and other machines used throughout the last 70 years. 

Kids can climb into a few vehicles and play with baggers to move sand from one place to the other. 

They also have many models of construction machinery from the world, which is great to recognise many of these capital goods firms (Caterpillar, Demag, Volvo, Komatsu...)
